Winter Fashion Haul Pt 1 – Missguided, Topshop, ASOS & More!

Why, hello there, you mesmerising human.

I don’t know if you remember one of my recent posts, How To Plan & Buy A Cost-Efficient Winter Wardrobe, but if you don’t . . . well, it’s linked, so it’s not like you can’t go and read it. If you do remember it, because you’re a good, kind, decent human being who appreciates the hours of hard work and effort I put into this blog in order to keep you mildly entertained for maybe 20 minutes out of your day . . . Great; you’re already up to speed! Moral of the story: I’ve been shopping.

Today, I’m going to be sharing some of my recent purchases. Why should you be excited? You shouldn’t, this is literally a post where I show you things that you don’t own. If anything, you should be worried and pre-emptively hide your debit cards.

Look, you cheeky thing, don’t skip over that video – it’s literally 2 minutes and very much bearable to watch; hey, if you’re feeling really charitable, you could even subscribe. If you’re interested in any of what I bought, let’s see what’s still available and – arguably more importantly – how much it cost and whether we can agree that I was operating under my guidelines for buying a cost-effective winter wardrobe. A lot of this was bought in the sales (actually, only 3 pieces weren’t – the pink Story Of Lola hoodie, the Adidas jumper and the boots) so most isn’t available, or is back to full price, but here’s what I found:

Update: I couldn’t find anything. Other than the Dorothy Perkins coat, which I really don’t think I did justice in this video, but it’s just sad and pathetic to only link to that. If you care, it’s on their website.

Now . . . to see if I’ve got everything I set out to buy to fill up my wardrobe. What did I originally need?

Well, I bought some coats; I bought some leggings; I bought some hoodies and I grabbed some jeans. So pretty much everything I needed – apart from accessories, but come on: a girl needs an excuse for another haul, wink wink.

Sorry for this post being so tragically short, but in all honesty it’s because:

  1. I needed a filler post as I have a couple of long, useful and meaty ones planned (hello, SEO post!) but those take a long time to research, plan and write, so I need more time for writing. Just keeping it real.
  2. I made a pretty cute video, if I say so myself, and I wanted to share it, but there’s just not really much else to say on the topic of a haul when the video shows you all the products of said haul.

So, there you have it – that’s part one of my haul! I hope you guys enjoyed this post while you procrastinated writing your own . . . oh yeah, I know what you’re doing here. Did you guys like the video; how was the editing? And what were your favourite items? I know that I highlighted mine, but do we agree? Let me know your thoughts down below!

    1. Thank you so much lovely! Omg it’s possibly my favourite thing ever; I was going to share a link to it (I bought it from Topshop) but it’s sold out there and everywhere else. If you were looking for it, Depop might have a few ones? xxx

    1. Aha thank you – I loved the colour and fade of them, so I didn’t want to send them back….so they can be artfully ripped to show whichever awesome tights I’m wearing on a given day! And yes they absolutely do, definitely give them a look…and thank you so much! ❀
