Hello, beautiful people, and welcome back to my corner of the web – and part two of my mini-Halloween DIY series! This year, I challenged myself to create some practical spooky DIY decorations – that you can keep on display post October 31st.

The first in this series was a DIY curio cabinet. If you missed that, definitely go check it out. However, for today, we’re going to be ripping off Urban Outfitters and creating a DIY tattooed hand mannequin.

I’ve seen these all over Pinterest and they’re so stunning. I was also massively inspired by the Urban Outfitters palmistry hand – but, honestly, we have so many DIY dupes of that bad boy already. (In fact, I actually shared one with you a few months ago.) So I decided to go the tattooed route.

You can use this hand mannequin to display jewellery – or just as a quirky home decor piece.

I went for a more feminine, botanical tattoo design style. (Kind of like the tattoos I have myself!) I think this slots in so beautifully with the rest of my office’s decor.

Honestly, guys, I can’t wait until this office is fully redecorated. I think you’re all going to love it. I sure do! But enough yapping from me! Let’s get into the making . . .

WHAT YOU NEED:

And that’s it! All in all, this cost me under $15 to make. Which is fabulous because (let’s be honest) I wasn’t keen on spending too much money on Halloween.

HOW TO MAKE:

As always, I would love it if you watched this tutorial in video format and subscribed to me over on Youtube too!

  1. Decide on your tattoo designs, then print them onto the temporary tattoo paper. (You can download my designs here for free!)
  2. Cut the tattoos out, then place them on your mannequin
  3. Use some damp tissue to wet the back of the temporary tattoo paper for 30 secs, then peel it off

And that’s it! This is another wonderfully easy craft that you can smash out in 10 minutes or less, especially if you use my designs. If you want to create something more personal, you can always draw the tattoos up yourself though!

If you’re enjoying this mini-series, make sure you check out my Halloween crafts from last year too! In the same vein, they all have a witchy tone while remaining practical and inexpensive.

WHAT TO READ NEXT . . .

Alright, my loves, we shall end at the end! I hope you enjoyed this 5-minute craft. Would you give it a try yourself? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Peace,
