Valentine’s Day Presents To Myself – 40% Off Missguided

Hey, beautiful people! Does anyone else ever feel like life happens all at once? It’s simultaneously great and super fucking annoying.

Case in point: I just started a new job (which I’m actually really enjoying; I know, shocking). It’s 3 days a week, the pay’s great and the work itself is flexible and pretty creative. I’m a happy trucker. This sounds good, right?

But, quite literally the day I started, another job opportunity came a-knockin’. Two days a week in the office and one from home. Again, the pay’s great – and it’s only for a couple of months. (If I do it; I don’t know if I’m that dedicated to the hustle. But when I say the pay’s great . . . the pay is great.) I could balance both . . . technically. It’s more “do I want to?”. Helpful hint: fuck no.

Look, the point of this is just to say sorry I haven’t been too active – I’ve been sorting all of that out, working, getting my new tattoo, etc. Life never seems to stop, which on one hand is great because your girl isn’t looking to die any time soon, but on another is kind of stressful because I really miss reading everyone’s content. And I’ve had no time to write!

Anyways, I was sitting at my dining room table, kind of freaking out about how much there is to do and procrastinating via checking my email inbox, when . . .

A heavenly sign!

Well, an email. A sale alert, actually – 40% off at Missguided. And suddenly . . . a post idea appears! A wishlist, nay – a “to buy at some indetermine point in the future” list. Plus, I mean, Valentine’s Day is coming up somewhat soon, so I can throw that in the title and pretend that this is on-trend, seasonal content instead of a last-minute, hastily written post.

#RealBloggerShit

Without further ado, I wish you all a big welcome to today’s post: a wishlist/list of things I may possibly buy myself as a Valentine’s present from me to me.

Red Satin Cami Pyjama Set – £20

Grey Babygirl Sweatshirt – £18

Bird Print Shirt – £25

Satin Wide Trousers – £25

Grey Lace-Up Joggers – £26

Green Embroidered Joggers – £28

Floral Satin Dress –  £40

Here are just a few of my top picks (I may or may not have added those green jogging bottoms to my cart . . . don’t tell my bank account, please) from Missguided at the moment! I apologise for this being such a short post, but after the essay that was my Wowcher post (SEO issues) I thought something more light and fun was in order!

I hope you guys got some shopping inspo – are you going to getting yourself any Valentine’s Day pressies? Have you checked out the Missguided 40% site-wide sale? What were your favourite of my picks? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Peace,

I’m loving the grey lace up joggers!!

  7. H.A.Ivy – I mean, to be frank with you do people actually read these? Undecided. I do know it's an excellent thing to write when you're trying to procrastinate from literally anything else. Technically I'm supposed to write on these for another obligation but you know what-we'll procrastinate on that one too. Mainly because people will be reading and judging that one. Though if you've gotten this far it's probably because you're genuinely hoping to find information about me, and to put it simply, there's not much to tell. I'm a fairly average person who prefers to have panic attacks about small things, and then when something's big I say "ah screw it" and move on with my life because who has time to dwell, not me that's who. Not with college and other stressful life requirements like not procrastinating on things. But in all seriousness, if you have made it this far, kudos to you. I'm H.A.Ivy, or Ivy, or Hazi or random girl that should shut up. I'm old (there's still a "teen" slapped after my age number so I'll let you figure it out), I enjoy writing, playing video games, and annoying my family. And of course, my ultimate goal is to take over the world, after I finish whatever this is.

  8. Arundhati Basu – New Jersey, US – The great affair in my life is to travel. I count myself immensely fortunate that my partner shares this passion. We are a team that likes to spend time planning and plotting out places to go. Destination check, flights check, accommodation check, cheesy grins check. Off we go.
    Dippy-Dotty Girl says:

It is okay to take a break from reading others’ posts and commenting. Then when you do, it becomes more about pleasure than some annoying chore. Congratulations on not just one, but two jobs, you are friggin’ ‘awesome’ (getting some American lingo under mah wings), pretty one. My picks are the floral trousers and dress and the grey lace-up jogger. xx

    1. That’s very true! I definitely missed having that time to check in and thank you lovely! I really don’t know how I’m going to balance both but my bank account will be happy at least and ooooh nice! Hope you have a great Valentine’s Day!xx
