Oh, my beautiful internet family, alas: we have almost reached the end of my Italy diaries. Aside from our second day in Venice, the rest of my days in Italy were spent near hotels and train stations as we caught the train between the three cities. Fun days full of food and beautiful views, yes – but hardly blog post worthy.
(And yes, what I mean by that is that I didn’t take any photos. Naughty Mia, go sit in the blogging corner of shame.)
I’ve said this before, but I absolutely love the order the we travelled to the cities in. Why? Because every city we visited just got better. More charming, more beautiful. Rome was lovely, but Florence was stunning. And Florence may have, indeed, been stunning . . . but Venice. Venice was amazing.

Am I the only one who looks at photos of themselves and is just like “I look like a completely different human in EVERY SINGLE PHOTO”?? Whatever, this is a rare photo of me without ice-cream in front of me when in Italy. And I bought ice cream later that day🤷🏻♀️ . . . #lifestyleblogger #italy #traveldiaries #travelblogging #londonblogger #blogginggals #blogginglife #bloggingcommunity #ootd #fashionbloggers #fashionoftheday #bloggerstyle #travelblog #wordpressblogger #discoverunder1k
My outfit for Venice . . . was reserved for Venice. While I was open to being swayed, I went into this holiday knowing that Venice was my end goal; Venice was what I came to see.
In the spirit of such a momentous occasion, I took my current favourite jumpsuit from ASOS out for a spin. (Although I wore it for a night out the week before going to Italy and, in my slightly drunk haste to get it off – to be fair, I really wanted to go to bed, I was tired as fuck – I slightly broke the zip at the very top of the back.)
Oh, be still my bohemian heart! I’m obsessed with this colour green at the moment and I love the wide leg pants. Mia’s a happy camper.
This photo’s file name is: “super awkward Mia takes super awkward photos”. Because I am super awkward on camera, especially when people are around, and I was not a good blogger. I got basically no OOTD photos – and this was the outfit I was so excited about, too.
Bloody typical Mia, really, isn’t it?
While absolutely beautiful, this jumpsuit is only available in Size 4 currently, so I’ve also listed some alternatives! Links all attached to the photos!
For our first night in Venice, we arrived at about 6 and, after settling into the hotel, we decided to head in and grab some dinner. There were so many beautiful little canal-side restaurants, we naturally chose one to sit and eat at. You may be surprised (and disappointed) to learn that this meal was the first and only time I got pizza while we were in Italy!
I know, I know; I’m cancelled.
After grabbing a bite to eat, we sat on the steps outside the train station and watched the world go by for a while. We were really just scoping out the area for our last full day and plotting out what we wanted to do/see. (And guys . . . we did and saw so much on our second day in Venice that you’re going to need to fix yourself a snack when you read that post.)
Now, to make up for the fact that this post is pretty short, I thought there would be no better time to announce my giveaway winner! Congratulations to Elfspo! Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a blog (or it wasn’t on her entry at least) so I can’t give her a shoutout, but thanks to everyone who entered!
I hope you guys enjoyed this first glimpse at Venice . . . don’t worry, Day 2 is when I whipped out the camera and started to explore, so there’s way more to come! What did you guys think of the jumpsuit? Let me know your thoughts down below!
